Gateway Hotel, Dehradun
All three days are based at Gateway Hotel, Dehradun. On Day 2 evening we drive up to Mussoorie for a short hill visit and return to the Dehradun hotel the same night — followed by a Day 3 nature walk, breakfast and departure.

Stay
All delegate rooms are blocked at Gateway Hotel, Dehradun for the full duration of the programme. There is no overnight stay in Mussoorie.
Day 2 → Mussoorie (evening tour)
After the afternoon session on Day 2 we drive up to Mussoorie (~35 km / 90 min) for an evening in the hills and return to the Dehradun hotel the same night.
Weather in May
Dehradun: warm days (28–35°C), cooler evenings. Mussoorie: pleasant 15–22°C — carry a light jacket and walking shoes.

Coach transfers for the Day 2 Dehradun ↔ Mussoorie evening tour are arranged. Cabs (Uber/Ola) are easy around Dehradun.

The Queen of the Hills' main promenade — viewpoints, cafes, the Camel's Back ridge walk and sunset over the Doon Valley.
Kempty Falls (Mussoorie)
Iconic multi-tiered waterfall about 15 km past Mussoorie town. Combine with the drive up.
LBSNAA (Mussoorie)
Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration — India's premier civil services training institute, set on a heritage hillside campus in Mussoorie. Worth a drive-by for the history and views.
Paltan Bazaar
Dehradun's bustling market street — handicrafts, basmati rice, Doon's famous bakery treats and local snacks.

A Dehradun institution since the 1950s — rum balls, plum cake, fresh patties. Perfect for a morning coffee stop.

Cosy Mall Road cafe with valley views, wood-fired pizzas and good coffee. A reliable Mussoorie pit-stop.

Tiny street stall on Mall Road famous for its cheese-chilli omelettes. Eat standing up — that's part of the charm.

Long-running Doon cafe for desserts, shakes and continental bites. Casual, easy after-session wind-down.
Tip: The Dehradun ↔ Mussoorie road gets busy in the late afternoon — leave before 4 pm or after 7 pm if you're heading up independently. Carry a light jacket for Mussoorie evenings even in May.
